Now in its third year, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) at the Leigh Academy Hundred of Hoo continues to grow as a positive force within our community. The PTA is a voluntary group of parents, staff, and teachers who work together to plan events and activities that raise valuable funds for our pupils.
Money raised is used to provide opportunities, equipment, and experiences that go beyond the school budget—helping to enrich school life and support memorable moments, such as our end-of-year celebration activities.
Our Current Project
This year, the PTA is focusing on creating a Reflection Garden—a calm and supportive outdoor space designed for students to take time out, reflect, and recharge. The garden will provide a positive environment to support wellbeing and personal growth, and we’re excited to see the impact it will have on our school community.
Our PTA Team
- Chair: Michelle Whyte (Staff)
- Treasurer: Nataliya Borouskaya (Parent)
- Secretary: Position currently open
The PTA’s core aim is to improve the school experience for every student. It also provides an important link between parents and the academy, creating opportunities for communication, collaboration, and new ideas.
We welcome anyone who would like to get involved—whether through sharing input, volunteering, or simply supporting our events.
